W imieniu międzynarodowego konsorcjum projektowego “European STudent Engagement Project (European STEP)” Uniwersytet Warszawski zaprasza na konferencję Student Engagement - Recognition and Inclusion Tools, która odbędzie się 23 kwietnia br. w formie online. Do udziału zapraszamy studentów i studentki, pracowników i pracowniczki uczelni oraz organizacje i instytucje zainteresowane tematyką wspierania i rozwijania różnych form zaangażowania studenckiego.

Na platformie ZOOM

Podczas wydarzenia poruszone zostaną tematy, takie jak:

•      Uznawanie zaangażowania studenckiego z perspektywy instytucji szkolnictwa wyższego oraz krajów Unii Europejskiej.
•      Narzędzia i dobre praktyki formalnego uznawania zaangażowania studenckiego oraz wspierania różnych form aktywności pozaakademickiej na europejskich uczelniach.
•      Zaangażowanie studenckie w czasie pandemii.
•      Komunikacja i promocja różnych form zaangażowania studenckiego.
•      Szeroki zakres kompetencji i umiejętności rozwijanych przez studentów i studentki poprzez zaangażowanie w aktywności pozaakademickie.
•      Zaangażowanie studenckie jako narzędzie wzmacniania różnorodności w społeczności akademickiej.

W programie: prezentacje wyników badań oraz działań prowadzonych w ramach międzynarodowego projektu European STEP, warsztaty oraz panel ekspercki.

Wydarzenie prowadzone będzie w języku angielskim.

 European STudent Engagement Project (European STEP)

Strategia Unii Europejskiej na rzecz młodzieży na lata 2019-2027 podkreśla aktywną rolę młodzieży w społeczeństwie, znaczenie jej zaangażowania oraz „obywatelskie, gospodarcze, społeczne, kulturalne i polityczne uczestnictwo”. Udział w inicjatywach pozanaukowych to również możliwość rozwoju oraz wzmocnienia praktycznych umiejętności.

Europejskie Konsorcjum Projektu European STEP od ponad dwóch lat prowadzi badania na temat sposobów uznawania i wspierania zaangażowania studenckiego przez uczelnie wyższe. Kwietniowe spotkanie będzie okazją do zaprezentowania efektów tych prac.

Presentation of European STEP Project Intellectual and Practical Outputs

In order to present the effects of the European STudent Engagement Project (European STEP), and to enhance the discussion about mechanisms and good practices of student engagement The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw is happy to announce the online event Student Engagement - Recognition and Inclusion Tools, which will take place on April 23. We would like to invite students, university staff members, organisations and institutions interested in the topic of facilitation and development of various forms of student engagement.

Friday 23.04.2021 (April 23) 9:45-15:45 ( 9:45am-3:45pm, CET)

Main topics of the event:

•      National and institutional perspectives of the recognition of student engagement across the EU.
•      Good practices of the recognition and support for student extracurricular activities established at European universities.
•      Student engagement in the uncertain time of pandemics and social isolation.
•      Communication and promotion of various forms of student engagement.
•      Variety of competences and skills gained through Student Engagement.
•      Student engagement as a tool for enhancing diversity in the academic community.
•      Practical approaches to recognition and support of student engagement at the universities.

On the agenda of the event: presentations, workshops, and an expert panel.

European STudent Engagement Project (European STEP)

EU Youth Strategy of the European Commission for 2019-2027 emphasises the active role of the youth in society and the importance of their engagement and “civic, economic, social, cultural and political participation”. Active engagement into various initiatives outside the classroom is also a platform for young adults to develop and train practical skills, as a complementary form to academic learning.

Being aware of the increasing importance of the matter, the European STEP Project Consortium for over two years has been researching the topic of how Higher Education Institutions across Europe are recognising and supporting student engagement.
